SOLUTION:
• Found amusement park with merry-go-round, Ferris wheel, hi-striker, and background rides during mid-winter in Santa Monica, California
• Arranged for permits and location fees
• Re-created hi-striker (existing one looked terrible)
• found colored bulbs in blue, green, yellow and red
• painted a sheet of Plexiglas and inserted bulbs
• found bell from antique hi-striker, restored and mounted it at top
• added rod down the middle and shot in studio
• photoshopped numbers, enhanced lighting effect, and added shiny glow to bell
• Shot other carnival elements on location
• Combined carnival elements with hi-striker and created "dusk" sky for final image
